Both paid Spotify subscribers and free users can install the updated app on Roku devices and enjoy their Spotify playlists or browse for new music. Here's how to add Spotify to your Roku device. All Roku TVs and Roku streaming devices with a model number of 3600 or higher are compatible with the upgraded Spotify app. Roku devices running Roku OS 8.2 or later can use these installation methods. How to Add Spotify From Your Roku Device Add the Spotify app from the Roku Channel Store using your Roku device or Roku TV remote. Select Streaming Channels from the Roku home screen. Select Search Channels. Search for the Spotify app, then select Add channel. Enter your PIN or password to continue. The newly added Spotify app is found at the bottom of your channel list. After adding the Spotify channel, either log in to your Spotify account or create a new free account. You can now listen to music stored in your Spotify library, search for new music, and do anything you'd normally do with Spotify on your phone or PC. If you have a Spotify account, log in with a PIN. Go to spotify.com/pair on a computer that's logged in to Spotify, then enter the code displayed on the Roku screen.
