Grand Theft Auto Advance Cheats - GTA Advance Cheats for GBA

Cheats and codes for Grand Theft Auto Advance on the Game Boy Advance

Despite being a port of the now-classic PC crime simulator, Grand Theft Auto Advance is a fun little diversion on its own for the Game Boy Advance. Like its older console brethren, it's got its own share of cheat codes and additional augments you can do to your game that'll make it even more fun to play. While this is a diminutive version and things are sized down considerably, there's still a ton of reasons to jump in and get excited, even if you played the original games a lot.

It's a lot of the same mechanics and excitement that made the original games what they were without the cinematic fanfare and silliness that it's so easy to get caught up in these days with the bigger, outlandish games on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The game takes place in Liberty City, but it's actually a prequel to Grand Theft Auto III. In fact, it takes place about a year before that game. So if you go back and enjoy this game after playing through GTAIII, you might find several familiar set pieces. If you haven't played it, you can go into Grand Theft Auto III feeling a lot more informed this time around!

Grand Theft Auto Advance Cheat Mode - Read This First!

To activate cheat mode in Grand Theft Auto Advance enter the following code during gameplay. If you don't enter this code, heading to the game and getting started won't mean much. You won't get any of the codes to work. This is an extremely important beginning step and shouldn't be missed!

Hold down A + B + Start

    Cheat Codes

Use these cheats in Grand Theft Auto Advance during gameplay after you have activated cheat mode as described above (there is no need to pause the game). Keep in mind that every button on the device is utilized in these cheat codes, especially the left and right shoulder buttons.

Remember, however, that the codes must be activated before you can start inputting them. Also, each code portion must be entered individually and not held at the same time as the others. For instance, don't hold left, right, up and down together, but press them quickly so that they tag onto each other and don't go too slowly or the codes won't activate.

    Have Another Cheat or Hint?

If you have another cheat or hint for this game or any other game we do not have listed,  send it in. Keep in mind many of these same cheat codes are toned down versions of the very same ones you can find in the original Grand Theft Auto console versions, but they're entered a lot differently.

Make sure you send us anything we're missing so we can have as complete of a cheats archive as possible!

Did you know there are other mobile Grand Theft Auto titles as well? If you find that you enjoy this one, you'll want to check out Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo 3DS. There have also been ports to iOS and Android, and they're well worth playing if you prefer your breaking and entering to be on the go.
