Tips for Requesting a Refund in the Epic Games Store

When you're requesting a refund for an Epic Games Store purchase, there are a few other things to keep in mind:

  • If the game was purchased through another outlet, Epic Games will not refund it. You'll have to return to the original place of purchase to get a refund, if that outlet grants refunds.
  • Some games are marked as non-refundable on the Epic Games Store. You cannot get a refund on these games.
  • If you have been banned from a game or if you have violated the Epic Games Terms of Service, you will be ineligible for a refund.
  • If your original payment method cannot be refunded, someone from the Support team will contact you to determine an alternate method of refunding your purchase amount.
