Since it was purchased by Acer, the Gateway brand has slowly been dwindled down and is now almost completely gone. With that, the Gateway support site has been reduced to just a few options. Essentially, you will need to know what type of computer you have in order to narrow down the support options. The easiest way to do this is to locate your serial number (SNID). In addition to this, many sections of the site require you to have registered and created a login to track your product warranty and support options available.
