Any audio that you listen to on your computer can be recorded using the free Streamosaur program. Whether you want to digitize analog sources (vinyl records, audio tapes, etc.), or record streaming music, Streamosaur is a flexible program that can capture audio and encode it onto your hard drive.

If you just want to listen and record Internet radio, then Screamer Radio is more suited to this task. You don't need to use your web browser to stream audio like the other tools in this guide. Everything is built into Screamer Radio so you can tune into and record thousands of Internet radio stations from all over the world.

It runs on all versions of Windows. This streaming audio program is also very light on resources so will run well on even an old PC. There are plenty of radio station presets already built into Screamer Radio, but you can also provide URLs to listen to other streaming services not on the list.
