Download These Photoshop Shapes How to Use Custom Photoshop Shapes All of these websites contain download links to CSH files, which is the file type Photoshop reads as a shape file. Some, however, are contained in an archive and may require the use of a free unzip program to extract out the shape file. Once you've located the CSH file, just open it to add the shapes to Photoshop. To actually use the custom shape after you've added it to Photoshop, select the shape tool from the Tools bar (or hit the U key on your keyboard to find it). Right-click the tool's icon in the Tools bar and select Custom Shape Tool. Use the new Shape tool at the top of Photoshop to select a shape that was installed from the CSH file.
