How to Quickly Find All Mail From a Sender in Yahoo Mail

Can your Yahoo Mail find all the mail from a specific sender in an instant? Can it accomplish that feat without you having to type a single character? Of course, it can. All you need is a message from the sender, and you can start a search for all messages from the same sender (or more precisely the same email address) with a single click. Using a current message, you can quickly find past emails from the same sender in Yahoo Mail.

Find All Mail From a Sender Fast in Yahoo Mail

To search for all messages from a contact by name in Yahoo Mail:

  1. Locate a message from the contact in your inbox or one of your folders.

  2. Hover the mouse cursor over the sender's name.

  3. Click the Search emails looking glass icon in the pop-up window that appears.

You can also find other messages from a sender by email address from an open email:

  1. Open an email from the contact in Yahoo Mail.

  2. Hover the mouse cursor over the email address in the message header.

  3. Click Search Emails in the pop-up window that appears.

Find All Mail From a Sender in Yahoo Mail Basic

Some Yahoo Mail users switch prefer to use the simpler Yahoo Mail Basic. To search for messages from a specific sender in Yahoo Mail Basic:

  1. Open a message from the sender in Yahoo Mail Basic.

  2. Highlight the email address under From:.

  3. Press Ctrl-C (Windows, Linux) or Command-C (Mac).

  4. Click in the search field at the top of Yahoo Mail Basic.

  5. Press Ctrl-V (Window, Linux) or Command-V (Mac).

  6. Click Search Mail.
