To find emails from a specific person in Yahoo Mail, sort your messages by sender. Here's how to search for messages from the same email address.

Instructions in this article apply to the web versions of Yahoo Mail as well as the Yahoo Mail mobile app for Android and iOS.

How to Find Messages From a Sender in Yahoo Mail

To search for all messages from a contact by name in Yahoo Mail:

Find a message from the contact in your inbox or another folder.
Hover the mouse cursor over the sender's name.
Select the magnifying glass that appears next to the sender's name. All messages from the selected sender will appear in a list.

You can also find a sender's other messages from an open email:

To search for messages from a specific sender in Yahoo Mail Basic:

Open a message from the sender in Yahoo Mail Basic.
Highlight the email address in the From field, then press Ctrl+C (for Windows and Linux) or Command+C (for Mac) to copy the text.
Go to the search box, then press Ctrl+V (for Windows and Linux) or Command+V (for Mac) to paste the address.
Select Search Mail.
