How Do I Feature a Person Less Often in Photos in iOS 15?

If you've found there's someone on your Photos People album that you'd like to see less, it's fairly simple to include them less frequently on the Photos app as well as the related Home Screen widget. Here's how to set it up.

This action doesn't remove the photos from your iPhone or iCloud account, but it does mean they feature less frequently in your memories and any related widgets.

  1. Open the Photos app.

  2. Tap Albums.

  3. Tap People.

  4. Tap the person you wish to feature less.

Can I Block Someone in Photos Memories?

If you'd prefer to block someone from your Photos Memories entirely, so they don't show up in any way, the process is very similar. Here's how to do so.

Again, this doesn't delete the photos, but it does block them from your memories and ensure they don't appear even if the person features them as part of a group photo. 

  1. Open the Photos app.

  2. Tap Albums.

  3. Tap People.

  4. Tap the person you wish to block.

  7. Tap Never Feature This Person.

  8. Tap Confirm.

How to Feature a Day or Place Less on Photos

  1. Open the Photos app.

  2. Tap For You.

  3. Tap the ellipsis next to the relevant memory.

  4. Tap Feature Less.
