How to Reset Your Pixel Buds to Factory Defaults

Luckily, you won't need a computer, tablet, or phone to reset your Pixel Buds. All you'll need is the Buds themselves, their case, a charging cable, and about a minute of free time.

Once you're ready to go, the process is simple.

  1. Plug your charging case for your Pixel Buds into a power source.

  2. Make sure your Buds are properly seated in your charging case and leave the charging case open.

  3. On the back of the charging case, hold the pairing button for 30 seconds or until the status light on the case stops bouncing.

  4. When the status light stops bouncing, let go of the pairing button.

  5. After letting go of the pairing button, the status light will blink white and orange to indicate the resetting process. When the reset is complete, the status light will begin bouncing white again.

  6. Once the status light is white again, your Pixel Buds have been reset and are ready to be paired to a device.

Troubleshooting Pixel Buds Issues
