Eternum is a free platformer PC video game that was released for the PC on April 21, 2015. The game has been inspired by the classic arcade games of the 1980s and meant as a tribute to the Ghosts' n Goblins series. The developer actually refers to Eternum as a sequel to the Ghosts' n Goblins series, creating a whole new adventure for Sir Arthur, the main character from the classic series.

The story of Eternum is set a number of years after the events of the last game in the Ghosts' n Goblins series. Time has left Sir Arthur old and alone, having lost everything he once loved. With nothing to lose he sets out on one more quest into the dark underground world of Samarnath in search of five magical orbs that provide eternal youth. The only problem is, no one who has ventured into Samarnath has come out alive.

Eternum is a worthy tribute to the classic Ghosts' n Goblins with its 16-bit retro-looking graphics but it is the addicting gameplay that makes it truly special. The sound effects and music also add to the appeal of Eternum which will give flashbacks to anyone who visited 80s arcades in their youth. Eternum contains 25 different levels, each of which offers different environments, enemies to fight and special hidden bonuses to find in a fun and fast-paced gameplay. There are also special levels and challenging final boss fights that you would expect from a top platformer arcade game. It also includes a wide variety of enemy types, many of which pay homage to the enemies of the arcade classic. Eternum supports keyboard controls using the arrow keys for movement and A and S keys for fire and jumps, respectively. It is also compatible with most PC Gamepads.

Eternum is completely free to download and play and does not contain any free 2 play elements or fee structure. The game was developed over an 18 month period by developer Radin, whose website contains a number of development updates, screenshots and videos of various levels from the game. The game can be downloaded from any of the download links listed above and is only available for Windows-based PCs. The game does take about half a minute for the game to fully load.
