This tutorial is only intended for Safari users on Apple iPad devices running iOS 8 and above.

The Safari browser for the iPad gives you the ability to email a link to the Web page you are viewing in just a few easy steps. This comes in handy when you want to quickly share a page with someone. Follow this tutorial to learn how it's done.

To get started open your browser by tapping on the Safari icon, typically located on the iPad's home screen. The Safari app's main window should now be displayed on your iPad. Navigate to the Web page that you wish to share. Once the desired page has finished loading tap on the Share button, found at the bottom of the screen and represented by an up arrow on top of a square. iOS's Share Sheet should now be visible, overlaying the lower half of the Safari window. Select the Mail option, usually located on the left-hand side of the first row of icons.

The iPad's Mail application will now open with a partially composed message displayed. The Subject line for the message will be populated with the title of the Web page which you have chosen to share. The body of the message will be populated with the page's URL.

In the To:Cc: and Bcc: fields, enter the desired recipient(s). Next, modify the Subject line and body text if you wish. Finally, when you are satisfied with the message, select the Send button.
