DVD Player/VCR Combos - Top Picks

The popularity of DVD and the need to still use a VCR to play back old tapes as given birth to the DVD/VCR combo. Check out some of my DVD/VCR combo picks in this alternative to the home theater mix.

Important Notice: DVD Player/VCR Combos are not to be confused with DVD Recorder/VCR combos. The combos on the following list do not record DVDs, just VHS tapes. However, the DVD player section will play back both commercial DVDs and most DVDs recorded on another DVD recorder, DVD Recorder/VCR Combination, or burned using a PC.

Also, many manufacturers have stopped making new DVD player/VCR Combos. Some that still do have kept the same models for two or more years. Also, some of the units on the following list may be officially discontinued, but may still be available at local retailers, or from third party sources, such as eBay.
