Dell Announces New Monitor Lineup, Including a Portable Option

The portable monitor will run you $350

Dell has announced its new series of monitors, which includes a portable option.

According to tech news site Gizmodo, the new lineup features a portable 14-inch monitor, a 24-inch monitor, and several 27-inch options.

The 14-inch display is 4.95mm thick (less than a quarter of an inch) and around 1.3 pounds. It has a stand on the back that allows you to tilt the display back between 10 and 90 degrees. The display comes with a Full HD IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and can connect to computers via USB-C cable.

The 14-inch portable monitor will cost $350 and will be available on August 31.

The video conferencing monitors come in 24-inch and a 27-inch models. Both have 5-megapixel cameras, noise-canceling microphones, and 5W speakers. For gamers, they also support AMD FreeSync, which helps sync gameplay to the display and they have 75Hz refresh rates.

The 24- and 27-inch monitors will cost $440 and $600, respectively, and will be available for purchase on September 7.

The final two 27-inch monitors are the high-end models. These monitors can connect to a computer or laptop via USB-C cable, but only one has 4K Ultra HD resolution. They both have the ability to charge a connected laptop while streaming audio and video at the same time.

The regular monitor will cost $500 while the 4K variant has a $620 price tag. Both are available for purchase now.
