How to Find Chromebook Browser History While in Chrome, open a new Google Chrome tab. Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the screen. You can press (CTRL+H) from any tab to access the History menu. Hover over the History option and select History in the menu that appears. The tab you see first is the Chrome History tab, which shows your entire browsing history for Chrome on the Chromebook you're currently using. Click Tabs from other devices on the left navigation menu to see a view of your browsing history for Google Chrome on other devices. This is useful for deciding how to go about deleting your browser history, because you may want to keep history data on other devices. How to Clear All Google Chrome Browser History At Once Of course, you can also clear all your Google Chrome browser history at one time if there's nothing specific you need to hold on to. Follow these steps to do that. In the Clear browsing data menu, stay on the Basic tab. Uncheck everything except for Browsing History. Click the Clear Data button on the bottom right corner of the window. Confirm that you're sure you'd like to delete the data if a confirmation window appears. You should now see a screen that show you have no browsing history data saved. How to Clear Google Chrome Browser History by Website If you don't want to remove all of the browsing history you have in Google Chrome, you can delete only specific websites. All you have to do is over your cursor over the checkbox next to any of the history files you'd like to delete. Click on the ones you don't want, and their boxes will turn blue. Scroll to the upper right corner of the screen and hit the Delete button when you've chosen. You'll get a confirmation window here. Just click Remove when you're ready to clear your Chromebook browsing history. How to Delete Google Chrome Browser History by Date If what you're trying to do is remove your browsing history from a specific date, you can do that easily. Just click the Clear browsing data link on the menu to your left, underneath Tabs from other devices on the main History page. On the window that pops up, you'll see the tabs Basic and Advanced. Click on Advanced to get to the dropdown that includes time options. You'll need to uncheck anything in this menu that you don't want to delete.
