How Do I Completely Delete Apps From My iPhone 13? Deleting apps from the iPhone 13 is generally pretty easy, but there are a few different ways to do it. Here are the three easiest ways to delete an app from the iPhone 13. Deleting Apps From the Home Screen The easiest and most common way to delete an iPhone app is from the iPhone's home screen. Here's what to do: Tap and hold the app until a menu pops out of it. In the pop-out menu, tap Remove App. A pop-up window lets you choose to delete the app completely, to remove it from the home screen but still access it through the App Library (more on that in the next section) or cancel to keep the app. Tap Delete App. In the next pop-up window, you'll see a message saying deleting the app will also delete any data you created with it from your phone. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud, your app data may be saved in iCloud for use later in you reinstall the app. Otherwise, your data will be deleted along with the app. Tap Delete to remove the app. In the first two methods described in this app, you can tap and hold the app until it starts wiggling and an X appears. Tap the X and then Delete in the pop-up window to delete the app. Deleting Apps From the App Library The App Library was introduced with iOS 14 as a place to store and sort all of your apps without having them take up space on your home screen. Just like with apps on the home screen, you can delete apps from the App Library by following these steps: Go to the App Library by swiping right to left until it appears. Tap and hold the app you want to delete. In the pop-out menu, tap Delete App. A pop-up menu lets you know if app data will be stored in your iCloud account. Tap Delete to remove the app. Deleting Apps From Settings You can delete apps from Settings, too. You'll probably only want to do this when you're specifically trying to clear storage space on your iPhone 13. In that case, it's good to see what apps take up the most space and then delete the ones you're not using. Here's how: Tap Settings > General > iPhone Storage. Browse through your apps—they start with the ones taking up the most space—and find the one you want to delete. Tap it. Tap Delete App. A window at the bottom of the screen tells you whether the app data will also be deleted.
