Def Jam Fight for NY: The Takeover vs. Def Jam Fight for NY

The PSP title is an expanded version of the console game Def Jam: Fight for NY for the PS2, Nintendo GameCube, and Xbox. In addition to the features in the original version, this updated game includes new fighting moves and four new venues.

Like the console game, Def Jam Fight for NY: The Takeover offers single player and multiplayer modes. It is technically a prequel to Def Jam Vendetta, but it uses the same characters and situations as Fight for NY. Gamers play as one of 68 characters, or they can create their own fighter to face off with Ludacris, Carmen Electra, Busta Rhymes, Lil' Kim, Snoop Dogg, and many others in wrestling matches.
