Boxing: How to Get and Watch DAZN

This article explains what DAZN is, the requirements for streaming, and how to sign up for, pause, and cancel the service.

What Is DAZN?

DAZN, pronounced 'Da Zone,' is a sports-only streaming service. Subscribers can watch live and on-demand sports events from multiple devices.

DAZN provides access to European boxing, MMA, F1, and other professional fights legally in the United States for sports fans across multiple streaming platforms.

There are two subscription options: Monthly and annual. There is no free trial offered for new DAZN subscribers.

DAZN Streaming Requirements

DAZN is available on most streaming devices, such as mobile devices, smart TVs and connected devices, and game consoles.

DAZN supported devices include:

• Amazon Fire tablet
• Android phone or tablet
• iPhone and iPad
• Amazon Fire TV and Fire Stick
• Android TV
• Apple TV (4th generation or higher)
• Google Chromecast
• LG Smart TV
• Samsung Smart TV

• Xfinity top set box
• Playstation 4 or 4 Pro
• Xbox One or One S

DAZN selects the best video quality your device can handle (up to full HD 1080p), depending on your connection speed. However, there are internet connection speed recommendations to stream programming with the best results. Speeds are based on the resolution and device.

• For SD resolution, which is appropriate for streaming on mobile devices, 2.0 Mbps or higher is recommended.
• For HD resolution, which is also good for mobile devices, 2.4 Mbps or higher is required.
• For HD resolution and high frame rates, which are appropriate for watching DAZN on a television, 6.0 Mbps or higher is required.
• To watch DAZN with the highest video quality and frame rates, 8.0 Mbps or higher is required.

DAZN Lineup

The DAZN app provides access to big fights and has other exclusive content. Some of the content you could expect to stream using DAZN includes the following.

• Exclusive boxing matches.
• Live Bellator MMA fights.
• World Boxing Super Series Bantamweight, Cruiserweight, and Super Lightweight tournaments.
• Behind the scenes content, such as "40 Days," which follows champion boxers training for fights.
• Interviews.
• Top fights archive.

You have the ability to set reminders for fights you don't want to miss. You can pause and rewind live, recorded, and on-demand programming. DAZN allows you to watch events on up to two devices at the same time, as well.

How to Sign up for DAZN

You will need a credit card for payment to sign up for and start watching DAZN. After you set it up, you will also need to add and connect the DAZN app or DAZN channel on the device (or devices) on which you want to stream fights. The signup method you use might vary slightly depending on the device you use to do so.

1. Go to dazn.com on any web browser to sign up on a computer. Search for the DAZN app or channel if you want to sign up using your streaming device. Select Sign Up Now to select the subscription option you want.

2. Enter your personal information and select Continue.

3. Enter your payment information and select Start Subscription.

4. Once the payment is processed, the Finished page will open. If you signed up on a computer, you will need to download and install the DAZN app on your streaming device and log in with your account information to activate it.

How to Pause a DAZN Subscription

If you want to take a break from your DAZN subscription, but don't want to permanently cancel it, you can pause it. Doing so will deactivate the account at the end of the current subscription period, stopping any automatic charges until you resume service.

1. Log in to the DAZN My Account page.

2. Select Cancel Subscription in the Subscription section.

3. Select Go Ahead & Pause.

4. Select a date in the Restart Date box. Your account can be paused for up to 4 months. 

5. Confirm that you want to pause the subscription. You will receive a confirmation email.

   DAZN will send a reminder email shortly before your restart date. Unless you permanently cancel prior to the selected restart date, your account will be reactivated and charged to the payment method you provided when setting up your account.

How to Cancel DAZN

You can cancel DAZN from a web browser, Smart TV, or gaming console app.

1. Log in to the DAZN My Account page.

   If you are canceling via your TV or console, select Menu in the upper-right corner, choose My Account and enter your login information.

2. Select Cancel Subscription in the Subscription section.

3. Select I Still Want to Cancel at the bottom of the page.

4. Enter any feedback desired regarding why you want to cancel and select Confirm Cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email notifying you that the subscription has been canceled.
