Currently Available Xbox One Console Bundles

Which Xbox One Bundle is Right for You?

If you’re ready to jump in and buy a new Xbox One, you have a lot of different bundles to choose from these days.  There are multiple game bundles, system colors, and hard drive sizes available across a wide price range, so which one should you get?  We cover all of your currently available options for new Xbox One consoles and what each one offers right here.

Note - There are also still bundles that come with the Kinect sensor, but since practically no games used it (and no new ones are on the horizon) we can’t recommend opting for a system with Kinect.  Also, all Xbox One consoles are backward compatible with select Xbox 360 games, so buying an Xbox One is like getting an Xbox 360 as a bonus!

All Xbox One consoles come with one controller and HDMI cable so you're ready to play right away.

The bog standard, bare bones, black Xbox One is the first and most obvious choice, but in terms of value, it isn’t the best option.  It is usually the cheapest option, since it doesn’t come with any games, but the other bundles that do come with games only cost a little bit extra, so it is hard to recommend just getting the hardware by itself.  Of course, if you’ve looked at the other bundles and none of the pack-in games appeal to you, saving a little money and just getting the Xbox One to start with, plus games on the side, is an obvious choice.  Current Amazon Price - $270-320

Another 500GB standard Xbox One, but this one comes with Gears of War Ultimate Edition.  If you never played Gears of War on the Xbox 360, and like third-person-shooters, this is a fantastic bundle as the remake of the game looks and plays fantastic on Xbox One.  This bundle is also available with a white system rather than black.  Current Amazon Price - $280-300

This black Xbox One comes with a bigger 1TB hard drive along with three absolutely fantastic games – Gears of War Ultimate, Rare Replay, and Ori and the Blind Forest.  This is a great bundle for families looking to get their first Xbox One as there is something for everyone to play right out of the box.  Because it comes with a bigger hard drive it does cost a little more, but it is a great value overall.  Current Amazon Price - $330-360

If you’d rather have a white Xbox One console, getting one along with one of the best new games of 2016 isn’t a bad deal.  This 500GB system comes with Quantum Break as well as a code for the Xbox 360 game Alan Wake, which is playable on Xbox One.  Current Amazon Price - $330-350

The Elite Xbox One has some advanced features not found in other Xbox One bundles.  This one is for more hardcore gamers that need higher performance.  The 1TB hard drive is a special hybrid drive that will load games faster, and the controller is the highly customizable Xbox One Elite Controller rather than a standard pad.  The specialized hardware comes at a higher price, but the performance is worth it.  Current Amazon Price - $420-450

This 1TB Xbox One comes packed with Tom Clancy’s The Division.  The Division is an online co-op / competitive third-person-shooter set in a disease-stricken and quarantined New York City.  Current Amazon Price - $320-350

Another 1TB black Xbox One bundle, but this one comes with Rise of the Tomb Raider as well as Tomb Raider Definitive Edition.  You are getting two absolutely fantastic action games in this bundle, both of which we highly recommend.  Current Amazon Price - $350

This standard black 500GB Xbox One comes with a unique promotion that lets you choose one of four games as your bundle.  The system comes with a download card that, when activated on or on the Xbox One itself, lets you download one of the following – Forza Motorsport 6, Rare Replay, Rise of the Tomb Raider, or Gears of War Ultimate.  This is a solid value and getting to choose what game you want is fantastic.  Current Amazon Price - $300

Older Xbox One Bundle Options

There are some older Xbox One bundles that might still be available, but they are more limited and harder to find these days (and are often more expensive). These include a blue Forza Motorsport 6 XONE, FIFA 16 or Madden 15 bundles, or specially colored Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare or Halo 5 Guardians bundles. These mostly go for $450+, so they aren’t a great value unless you just really love the way the systems look.
