Why Change Your Yahoo Mail Password?

There are multiple reasons why you would want to change your Yahoo Mail password. For example:

  • If you suspect that your password has been compromised and that someone else has access to your Yahoo Mail account.
  • If it's just too hard to remember and you're constantly checking your password manager for it.
  • If you're worried that it's not secure enough.

Regardless of your reason for wanting to update your Yahoo Mail password, it's a good idea to do it on a consistent basis. Changing your password periodically will make it much harder for someone to access your account because the same password isn't used for an extended period of time.

If you think someone might have your password due to a keylogger being installed on your computer, scan your computer for malware and be sure to keep an antivirus program installed at all times.
