Make sure your phone is turned off before you open it: Use the Samsung Galaxy S6 Ejection Pin New Samsung Galaxy S6 devices come packaged with an ejection pin for the SIM card tray. Insert the ejection pin into the tiny hole beside the SIM tray slot to make it pop open. If you don't have the ejection pin, you can use a straightened paper clip instead. Remove the SIM Card Tray Gently pull on the edges of the tray to remove the SIM card from your Galaxy S6. Remove the Old SIM Card and Place the New One on the Tray Note the shape of the tray to figure out how to position your new card. One of the corners should have a diagonal pattern that matches the slant on your card. The name and brand on the card should be facing up, and the gold contact points should be facing downward. Replace the SIM Card Tray Gently push the tray back inside the phone until it is secure. Samsung Unlike the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 devices are not waterproof, so the SIM card can be damaged if your phone gets wet.
