How to Change the Band on a Fitbit Versa, Special Edition, or Lite Edition The Fitbit Versa band uses small quick release pins to attach the band to the watch case. The pins detach when you press down on them, allowing you to remove the band from the watch case. To attach a new wristband, simply snap it into place with the pins. While it may seem a little tricky at first, you'll get the hang of it quickly. Fitbit How to Change a Versa Wristband Step-by-Step These instructions apply to the Fitbit Versa series, which includes the Versa, Versa 1/2, Versa Lite, and Versa SE. Look at the inside of your Fitbit Versa band and locate the two quick release pins connected to either side of the Fitbit watch case. Holding the Fitbit watch case in one hand, press the tip of the release pin (shown in blue) with the tip of your finger and pull the band away from the watch case. It should release easily, so don't force it. Repeat this process for the other side of the band. Remember, never force anything when changing a Fitbit band as unintentional damage could void your warranty. If you're having issues changing your band, contact Fitbit help. Fitbit When you're ready to attach the new wristband, check the position of the watch case to your wrist and make sure you're attaching the bands with the correct orientation. To attach the new wristband, hold the watch case so the inside is facing you. Now, hold the band at a right angle and place the band's pin (on the side opposite the quick-release lever) into the bottom notch on the watch case. Fitbit To insert completely, press down on the quick release pin and attach it to the top of the watch case clip until it snaps into place. Repeat this process for the other side of the band. Fitbit Making a Statement with Your Fitbit Versa Wristband The ability to customize your Fitbit Versa helps transform your activity tracker into a hip and trendy fashion statement. Now that you know how to switch out your bands, you can quickly change the look of your Fitbit Versa whenever the mood strikes and so you'll be ready for any occasion, day or night, formal or casual.
