Push these buttons and gently detach the band by pulling it.For most Fitbit bands, attaching the new band is the same process in reverse: Push its metal clip into the button of your Fitbit.Inspire: Hold at a right angle, slide bottom of pin into bottom notch on watch case. While pressing quick-release, press the pin into top notch. If your favorite Fitbit band is broken, worn out, or no longer your favorite, you can easily swap it out. Here are the instructions for changing the bands on the Fitbit Charge, Ionic, Inspire, and Ace 3 for kids. How to Change the Band on a Fitbit Charge These instructions apply to the Charge 2, Charge 2 HR, and Charge 3, which all use the same type of clip. Look inside your Fitbit Charge band and locate the two quick release clips connected to either side of the watch case. Holding the Fitbit watch case in one hand, press the outside edge of the release clip (shown in red below) with the thumb of your other hand and pull the watch case toward you. This action releases the watch case from the clip. Repeat this process for the other side of the band. Never force anything when changing your band. If it feels stuck, gently move the band around to release it. If you're having problems, contact Fitbit help. Fitbit To attach the band, you basically reverse the above steps. To start, check the position of the watch case to your wrist and make sure you're attaching the straps to the correct sides of the watch case. Next, hold the watch case in one hand with the inside facing you. Take one side of the band in your other hand and attach it by pressing the watch case away from you into the quick release clip. How to Change the Band on a Fitbit Ionic Fitbit Ionic bands come in two sizes, large and small, but the process for changing their bands is the same. Here's how to do it. Fitbit Look inside your Fitbit Ionic band and locate the two instant snap metal buttons connected to either side of the watch case of your Fitbit tracker. Holding the Fitbit watch case in one hand, press the metal button (shown in blue below) with the thumbnail of your other hand and gently detach the band by pulling it out. It should detach easily when you press the button. Repeat this process for the other side of the band. Never force anything when changing your band. If it feels stuck, gently move the band around to release it. If you're having problems, contact Fitbit help. Fitbit Attaching the new band is basically a reverse process of the above steps. To start, place the watch case to your wrist to make sure you're attaching the bands to the correct sides. Simply push its metal clip into the button of your Fitbit. How to Change the Band on a Fitbit Inspire The Fitbit Inspire tracker has small quick-release pins that attach the bands to the watch case. It's a little trickier than other models, but it's still easy to swap bands. Here's how: Fitbit Look inside your Fitbit Inspire band and locate the two quick-release pins connected to either side of the tracker's watch case. Press down on the pin's quick-release lever with the tip of your finger and gently pull the band away from the watch case. It should detach easily, so don't force anything. Repeat this process for the other side. Fitbit To attach the new band, hold it at a right angle, and slide the bottom of the pin (on the side opposite the quick-release lever) into the bottom notch on the Fitbit watch case. Fitbit While pressing down on the quick release lever, press the pin into the top notch of the Fitbit watch case. Once securely attached, let go of the quick-release lever. Repeat this process for the other side of the band. Fitbit How to Change the Band on a Fitbit Ace 3 The Fitbit Ace 3 and Fitbit Ace 2 activity trackers for kids have a flexible band that allows you to pop the watch case in and out, so you can quickly switch bands without any pins or clasps. Here's how: Fitbit Hold the Ace 3 watch case so it's facing you and the button is on the left. Gently press the watch case through the opening on the flexible band to remove it. Fitbit Reverse the process to attach a new band. To start, hold the watch case towards you with the button on the left. Now, place the top of the watch case into the flexible wristband opening and gently push the watch case into place from the bottom until it's securely inside the band.
