Capabilities and Features

The Nikon D5500 DSLR camera was one of the best models announced at CES 2015. Nikon

As usual, several digital camera manufacturers chose the CES 2015 show in Las Vegas to make announcements about new digital cameras. And as has been typical in the past few years, the overall volume of cameras announced at CES dropped again, especially in the area of point-and-shoot models.

You can expect more announcements to occur in the upcoming weeks, but it's likely that most of the announcements will involve advanced interchangeable lens cameras as well as advanced fixed lens cameras.

Point and shoot cameras continue to be overtaken by cell phone cameras.
