What Happens When You Pause YouTube TV? You have the option to pause your YouTube TV membership for up to six months. Once you pause the subscription, you can continue watching until the end of your billing period. After that, you lose access to YouTube TV, and your account isn't charged again until the time you specified. You're charged at your previous rate as soon as the pause period ends, and that date becomes your new monthly billing date. Your old recordings will remain, but YouTube TV won't record anything until you resume. YouTube TV recordings expire after nine months by default. This still applies while your account is paused.
