About Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of Duty: Black Ops is the seventh game in the Call of Duty series of video games. Like all other games in the series, it is a first person shooter that includes both a single player story campaign and competitive multiplayer game modes. It also continues the popular Call of Duty Zombies game modes. Black Ops is the sequel to Treyarch's previous game, Call of Duty World at War, moving the timeline from World War II into the Cold War.

The single player campaign is told through a series of flashbacks but takes place from the early 1960s, around the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis, through the Vietnam War.
