Brandon de Hoyos was a writer for Lifewire, where he wrote extensively on messaging and chat applications and videography for more than five years. Additionally, he has written about IM and internet technology for a variety of magazines and newspapers, including "Teen People," "Disney Adventures," "The Sun Newspapers," and other Houston community newspapers publications. Brandon De Hoyos regularly used IM as a newsroom tool when he served as the morning online editor at News 92 FM in Houston. He currently serves as digital producer supervisor at Disney-ABC Television Group.


De Hoyos earned a B.A. in Communications, Print Journalism from the University of Houston.
