Amazon How to Borrow Free Books With the Kindle Owners' Lending Library Follow these step-by-step instructions to learn how to borrow a book through the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. Open the Kindle Store on your Kindle device. You'll see a list of categories, such as Books, Newspapers, Magazines, Audible Audiobooks, Kindle Singles, and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. Select Kindle Owners' Lending Library. After opening the Kindle Owners' Lending Library, browse the list of books to borrow. A book is eligible for borrowing when it has a Prime badge identifying it.
