Top Eight Best Star Wars Games on OG Xbox

Star Wars games used to be a big joke in the industry because they were rarely worth the cartridge or disc they were copied on. These days, however, Star Wars games have really come into their own and the Xbox has seen more than its fair share of the great ones. Here is a list of the eight best Star Wars games on the original Xbox.

Surprisingly, there were very few Star Wars games released on Xbox 360, so if you want to play Star Wars games look into an OG Xbox instead.

Knights of the Old Republic

Not only is KOTOR the best Star Wars game for Xbox, but it also one of the best games overall. KOTOR is a fantastic RPG that delivers a great story, interesting and fun gameplay, and a cast of characters that are easy to love. It is also a testament to the strength of the Star Wars universe as a whole because the game takes place long before the movies and is every bit as exciting.

Lego Star Wars

Sure it is cute and simple, but Lego Star Wars is undeniably fun. It is incredibly well designed and executed and the whole world really is made out of Lego blocks. Playing through the prequel movies with all of the different characters is an absolute blast and even though the gameplay is pretty simple, Lego Star Wars is addictive and fun.

Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

While not quite as good as the first KOTOR, The Sith Lords does a great job of analyzing the difference between the dark and light side. It is incredibly interesting and a must play because even the biggest Star Wars fans will learn a thing or two about the Jedi that they didn’t know before. The gameplay is exactly the same as the first KOTOR, which is a letdown, but it is still very good.

Republic Commando

Republic Commando shows you the dark and gritty side to the Star Wars universe. Behind all of the big battles and thrilling action scenes, specially trained soldiers are in the background making sure everything runs smoothly. This FPS has very solid gameplay that is nonstop action from start to finish, but is a very short experience overall. Well worth playing in spite of its brevity.

Battlefront II

is the biggest selling Star Wars game of all time, so it should be no surprise we’re getting a sequel. What is surprising, though, is just how much better Battlefront II is than the original. Every single aspect of the game has been improved and new features such as space combat and the ability to use Jedi and other hero characters just seal the deal. More planets, more vehicles, more characters, more weapons – it all adds up to be more fun.

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

The official game of the Episode III movie, Revenge of the Sith delivers some of the best lightsaber action in a video game yet. Using the force and hacking things up with a lightsaber is flat out fun and RotS does a great job of really making you feel like a powerful Jedi.

Jedi Knight III: Jedi Academy

Another great lightsaber game, Jedi Academy mixes in some shooter elements along with the lightsaber combat to create a very satisfying experience. As a new student at Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Academy, you learn all about the powers and potential dangers of the force. Jedi Academy features both a great single-player campaign as well as a fun multiplayer mode.

Clone Wars

Clone Wars is a bit of a stretch to appear on a "best games" list, but I like it. Clone Wars is an interesting third-person shooter where you get to take the controls of a number of different vehicles and wreak havoc during the Clone Wars. The game does a good job of setting things up between Episode II and III and puts you right in the center of the conflict between the Republic and the Separatists.
