Take an Android Screen Capture using the Buttons on Your Phone or Tablet

The quickest way to take a screenshot on Android is to press the Power and Volume Down (or Home) buttons at the same time. Hold the buttons until you hear a click and see the screen grow smaller.

Screenshots taken this way are stored on your device. Use the Gallery app or another file manager app to browse for the image files.

Tip: Your device may have advanced features to control how you take a screenshot. Check your device's settings.

Screen Grabber places a floating button on screen. Tap it to take the screenshot and wait for your device to vibrate. To turn Screen Grabber off, swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the Screen Grabber notification.
