Display resolution - TVs come in all kinds of resolutions these days, but as the resolution increases so does the price. If you’re buying a smaller television set, then 720p is fine, while 1080p will work for larger sets. You really only need to be looking at a 4K display if you’re buying a TV that’s larger than 55 inches. Otherwise, 1080p should work just fine for you.
Curved TV - Samsung makes a line of curved televisions, and while these are sort of a niche product, they’re actually surprisingly popular. The downside of a curved TV is that it limits viewing angles—you’re not going to want to mount one of these above the fireplace. But if you want an incredibly immersive experience across a smaller viewing area, then you may want to look into one.
Smart TV features - If you’re going to be using an Apple TV, Roku, or another smart TV add-on with your Samsung display, then built-in smart TV features don’t really matter. But if you’re relying on your display to stream Netflix, Hulu, and the other services you subscribe to, make sure the set has smart TV features—and access to the ones you use the most.
