Kodak EasyShare PlaySport

"Tough" still image digital cameras are growing in popularity and availability. "Tough" video digital cameras aren't quite as easy to find, though, which makes the Kodak EasyShare Playsport video camera an interesting option.

The Playsport, which is the second generation model and which was announced at CES in January, can shoot full 1080p HD video in a small video camera body. With still images, the Playsport can shoot at 5MP of resolution. It has a 2.0-inch LCD. Read Review  Buy from Amazon »

Kodak EasyShare Touch

Kodak is known for its easy-to-use cameras -- after all, they place "easy" in the name of their beginner-level cameras. But the touch-screen LCD Kodak has included with its recently announced EasyShare Touch digital camera potentially makes the Touch the easiest-to-use Kodak camera yet.

The Touch's 3.0-inch touch-screen LCD offers a higher resolution screen than most Kodak cameras. As with most Kodak cameras, the Touch makes it easy to upload your photos and videos to Facebook or YouTube.

In addition, the Touch offers 14 megapixels of resolution, a 5X optical zoom lens, and 720p HD video capabilities. Read Review  Buy from Amazon »

The EasyShare M580 digital camera from Kodak doesn't disappoint when it comes to the camera's ease-of-use features for sharing photographs, thanks to a dedicated "Share" button on the camera. Using the Share button, you can tag photos for uploading to e-mail, YouTube, Facebook, and other social media Web sites.

For a sub-$200 camera, the M580's photography features are really good, too. It offers 14 megapixels of resolution, an 8X optical zoom lens with limited wide angle capabilities, and a 3.0-inch LCD. It also can shoot 720p HD video at 30 frames per second.

The Z5120 offers a 26X optical zoom lens as well as 16MP of resolution, both of which are very nice features. In addition, the Z5120 has a 3.0-inch LCD screen, 720p HD video recording, and a dedicated Share button, making the process of sending photos to social media networks easier.
