Best Buy TV Deals

While Mother's Day and back-to-school isn't known for great TV sales, Best Buy tends to have deals all year round. There are plenty of deals available from top brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, Westinghouse, and the affordable in-house Insignia brand. Before you start picking out your brand-new TV, you'll want to keep a few things in mind.

Screen size will largely depend on the size of your living room, how far you plan to sit from the TV, and your own space limitations. The most common TVs are in the 50 to 55-inch range, but for a big space you can size up to 75 inches or even bigger. Smaller TVs in the 30 to 40-inch range are good options for a dorm room or small bedroom.

Panel technology differs, but the most common screens are IPS, VA, and OLED. IPS screens have great viewing angles and color accuracy and don't suffer from ghosting as VA panels do. That said, VA screens are a bit more affordable, especially for larger sizes, and their faster response rate can make them a good TV for gaming. Samsung particularly favors VA screens. Last but not least, OLED screens have rich dense blacks and saturated colors. They're some of the highest-end TVs you can get and they look great, but you'll also have to pay a pretty penny for them.

The most common resolution is 4K and that's what you'll find most content in. Many 4K TVs also come with built-in processors that give them the ability to upscale 4K content. 1080p TVs are less common, but there are a few on this list which may make them a good option if you're on a tight budget. 8K is the highest resolution currently available and only a handful of TVs have it (and they're very costly), and there's a limited amount of 8K content currently.

Most TVs on Best Buy are smart TVs, meaning they come with a built-in operating system, loaded with streaming services, and often have a voice assistant like Bixby, Alexa, or Google Assistant. However, if you aren't a fan of whatever OS is the default, you can pick up your own streaming device to use with your TV.

Now, without further ado, read on to see the greatest Best Buy TV sales to take advantage of.
