Experience

Andy began writing for Lifewire in 2019, covering a wide range of consumer technology, though he specializes in and is most passionate about photography related products. Andy is an avid photographer and videographer, and licensed drone pilot. He spends every spare moment out capturing the wild landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Andy is also a computer technology enthusiast, and has built several of his own gaming rigs over the years, which are vital to his work as a digital content creator.

In addition to his written and photographic contributions to a wide range of publications, Andy’s work as a video creator has been featured in advertisements, and on the nationally broadcast TV show “Right This Minute”. Andy maintains the active Youtube channel “Illuminations From The Attic” as well where he posts nature and photography themed content on a weekly basis.

Andy also works with the Center for Responsible Forestry as a photographer and videographer documenting imperiled legacy forests in Western Washington.

Education

Andy attended Lower Columbia College where he studied writing, photography, and graphic design.
