The Latest News About AfroTech AfroTech is an annual conference centered around startups, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in the Black community. Morgan DeBaun founded it in 2016. When Will AfroTech Be Held? Afrotech World will take place online April 13-14, 2022. Afrotech Executive is a five-city event that started in Miami on February 24, 2022. Brooklyn was the next stop on March 25, followed by Washington (May 19), the Bay Area (June), and Los Angeles (September). Austin will host an in-person event November 13-17. The 2021 conference was on November 8-13. It took place online, with the entire event live-streamed to attendees. How to Register and Attend Tickets are available on the AfroTech website. Registration is open, with three ticket options: Student, General Admission, and Corporate Admission. What Announcements Are Expected? This event doesn't typically involve significant industry announcements. Instead, attendees are encouraged to network with one another, learn new skills, and discover emerging trends in design, engineering, and other technology areas.
