If you are looking for are a really big 4K Ultra HD TV, LG may have just the ticket, the 98-inch 98UB9800.

First up, the 98UB9800 incorporates a flat IPS LCD panel (with edge lighting combined with local dimming), which provides a more effective wide viewing angle (of course with its large screen size several people can easily sit in a good spot to see the entire screen), as well as LG's True 4K Engine Pro, which enables more upscaling of lower resolution content sources, and 240Hz TruMotion processing.

For audio, the 98UB9800 a built-in 5.2 channel speaker designed by March Kardon built into the frame for those that do not have an external audio system (although, with any TV these days, I always recommend an external sound bar or home theater receiver/speaker system for the best listening experience).

The 98UB9800 incorporates the webOS as the Smart TV interface, enabling more intuitive access and navigation of internet and network-streaming audio and video content.

As far a 4K content and streaming goes, this set provides HDMI 2.0 connectivity, which provides compatibility with 60fps 4K source signals, and HEVC (H.265) decoding, which, when combined with a fast broadband connection, allows access to 4K streaming content from Netflix or other forthcoming compatible online content providers.

Also, if you have a compatible smartphone or tablet, you can stream content directly from those devices to the TV via the WiFi Direct feature. This is in addition to the TV's built-in Ethernet and Wifi options for accessing content on your home network or the internet.

In addition, if you are 3D fan (and if you aren't this set may change your mind), the 98UB9800 includes LG's passive Cinema 3D which provides very comfortable 3D viewing using the passive method - and the glasses a very inexpensive (2 pairs included).

Another use for the TVs 3D capability is dual game play (requires additional special glasses though), this feature allows the TV to display two different full screen overlapping images at the same time, but each person, if wearing the special glasses, only sees "their" image.

For operational convenience, the TV also comes with LG Magic Remote - with provides menu navigation via thumb wheel, physical gestures, or voice control.

Of course, all this does come with a price,  but if you have the spare cash, watching your favorite movies either upscaled or in true 4K on a really large screen, is an impressive experience - and, in addition to the increased availability of 4K streaming content, the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc format is expected to start becoming available late is 2015 or early 2016.

Also, if that extra large screen size and price tag are too much for you, this set is also offered in three "smaller" additional screen sizes:
